Baked Turkey Meatballs
These juicy, oven-baked turkey meatballs are flavorful, tender, and easy to make. Perfect for busy weeknights, meal prep, or feeding the whole family—without the extra grease from frying.
Ingredients
-
1 pound ground turkey
-
½ cup fresh breadcrumbs (white or whole wheat)
-
½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
-
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped
-
½ tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped
-
½ tablespoon fresh oregano, finely chopped
-
1 large egg, lightly beaten
-
Pinch of freshly grated nutmeg
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
-
2–3 tablespoons milk (or water, as needed)
Instructions
-
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.
-
Mix the ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, parsley, basil, oregano, egg, nutmeg, salt, pepper, and milk. Mix gently until just combined. The mixture should be moist and hold together easily—add a little more milk if needed.
-
Form the meatballs. Using a teaspoon or your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them evenly on the prepared baking sheets. You should have about 25–30 meatballs.
-
Bake. Bake for 30 minutes, turning once halfway through, until the meatballs are cooked through and lightly golden on all sides.
-
Serve and enjoy. Serve warm with pasta, zucchini noodles, marinara sauce, or as a protein-packed snack.
